One: go into your blogger account and change all your settings and layout and then use the file and save as. No joke there are 10 steps/changes you have to make to your blogger blog settings to put it in to a format to save it. And if you don’t do it right you can jack up your blog. I did it just so I can see how long it took. I am not being boastful but I know a lot about computers and a little about code and this took me about and hour and half to figure out and it still really didn’t work.

Two: use down-them-all function in Fire Fox while at the same time using a special URL. This way isn’t as tricky but you do have to do some extra work. You first need to use Fire Fox browser then download a tool called “DownThenAll”. Once you have done this you need to go to the address filed and type in a long URL with the exact number of post you have on your blog. If you don’t know this you need to login into your blogger account and find out. Once you have done this then you should be able to pull off a bunch of files and data from your blog. When I did this it stop the download about 5 times due to the amount of data I was pulling off. I thought it was an ok way to back up my blog but it took time and you need to be somewhat savvy about computers.

Three: use Bloggled and with one click of a button, visually see your data being backed up and at the same time download it to your computer anytime you want. This by far is the best and easiest way to back up your blog. You can do it for free if you have one blog and if you have multiple blogs then you can pay a little bit each month for the storage space. Bloggled’s Back Up My Blog service is by far the coolest new service out there for bloggers.
