So guess what my wife just got into; blogs about food and recipes. Now, how can I complain about that? Over the last week I’ve been the privileged recipient of over 4 new dishes! Now I’ll actually have to start watching my diet again. With the internet now acting as the world’s information interstate, food obviously has huge corner presence. Thousands of women out there are not only posting recipes, but blogging about their favorite recipes and dishes as well. Check out these top cooking blogs to get your fill this week!
For starters, if you don’t want to waste a bunch of time by trying to find each food blog individually, then to my wife’s favorite food blog resource www.foodblogblog.com. This blog is a consortium of top food blogs from all over the internet. It is approaching close to 2,000 separate food blogs from every type of culture, country and way of life. When you get a few moments, take some time to click through the blog as well as visit some blogs that sound interesting.
Here are some of my favorites that I’ve tested this week!
Luisa Weiss is the owner of www.wednesdaychef.typepad.com. She lives in New York City and grew up in Berlin with an American father and Italian mother. Her blog began in 2005 because of a mounting pile of Italian and German recipes saved from the past, as well as numerous recipes cut out of the newspapers. This blog is great. Not only does she have great recipes, but she’s a solid writer whose personality really comes through in her blog. She is very honest and candid and willing to tell you what she really thinks, despite any negative feedback that may result. Try the “Roasted Tomato Pasta” this week. It’s a great one!
Ok, here is another one of my favorites. www.stickygooeycreamychewy.blogspot.com
The name is pretty self-explanatory. If you like desserts, pastries, muffins and all-things sweet this will become one of your favorite blogs. After trying out just a few of the recipes I made this blog a permanent spot in my favorite’s category! Give it a whirl. It won’t disappoint.
You want BBQ? www.bbqjunkie.com is another great food website. Get ready for every tangy BBQ recipe you can imagine! This blogger also attends and competes in multiple BBQ per year in order to test his new recipes and critique others work. Recommendations are also made various types of grills, smokers and BBQ accessories for all your favorite BBQ. Check it out and happy BBQ’ing!
